Year 1 - Body Percussion
Year 1 are looking at Body Percussion - using their bodies to create music. We are looking at rhythms that are written down, playing along to videos, and creating our own patterns. Here is a video we are using in lessons that you can try at home!
Year 4 - Motivic Composition
Year 4 are using their composition skills to create motifs representing different moods and characters. You can have a look at this BBC page about the use of Leit Motifs in films.
Year 6 - Pop Music
Year 6 are looking at Pop Music, and are going to put all of their skills into place to create bands, and put together their own performances. Below are the song sheets we are using that you could continue practising with at home.
