Pupil Voice
At Bassetts Farm, we believe every child should have the opportunity to have their voice heard and to make a positive difference to our school community. Our pupils take on a wide range of leadership roles, including School Councillors, House Captains, Sports Leaders, Librarians and Eco Leaders, alongside many other opportunities across the school. These roles help children develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork and leadership skills, while giving them a genuine part to play in shaping school life and making Bassetts Farm the best it can be
School Council
Following the British system of democracy, each class elected a representative for our School Council.
Our School Council represents the views and ideas of children across the school. They listen to their classmates, share their ideas and lead projects that help to make Bassetts Farm an even better place to learn, play and grow. Our new school council members are busy coming up with ideas on how to continue to improve our school.
Eco Council
Our Eco Councillors help us care for our school and the wider environment, leading projects, sharing ideas and encouraging everyone at Bassetts Farm to make positive, sustainable choices.
Sports Leaders
Our Sports Leaders help to make playtimes active and enjoyable by leading games and activities, encouraging others to join in and promoting teamwork and fair play.
House Captains
Our House Captains are positive role models who represent their houses, encourage teamwork and participation, and help to lead house events and activities across the school.
Pupil Librarians
Our Pupil Librarians help to look after our library, organise and recommend books, and inspire other children across the school to develop a love of reading
